At Panels Plus we have been working hard towards automating our single tool sheathing bridge. Since the release of the semi-automated single tool bridge we have been listening to our customers feedback to continually improve the existing bridge, and develop the platform for a new automated bridge. About a year ago we hired Ross Krueger as a Software Engineer who has been working closely with MiTek Engineers to come up with a file that can download from Shop Net, part of the Sapphire Suite. This new system will be used to automatically nail the sheathing material to a framed wall. Ross has also been working with our engineering department and outside vendors to come up with a design that is accurate, robust and reliable. We are in the process of final testing of the prototype unit which will then be placed in the field for additional testing.
Look for more communication in Q1 of next year about details on the release and availability of this exciting new product.
