A few words from our General Manager.
I hope this update finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to share some exciting news about Panels Plus and to express our gratitude for your continued support.
First and foremost, I am pleased to announce that we had a record year in 2022, and we could not have done it without you. Your trust and confidence in our products and services has been instrumental in our success, and we are truly grateful for your partnership.
Despite market uncertainty, we are optimistic about the year ahead and are confident that 2023 will be a strong one for Panels Plus. We have been working hard to continue to innovate and improve our offerings, and we are confident that this will help us remain competitive in a rapidly changing market.
We understand the importance of providing our clients with the highest level of service and support, and we are committed to maintaining this standard in the coming months and years. We have been investing in our processes and infrastructure to ensure that we are able to meet your needs and exceed your expectations.
I recently attended the International Builders’ Show (IBS) in Las Vega, Nevada with Jeff Brown, Panels Plus Product Manager to determine if this would be a good show for Panels Plus to exhibit at in the future. There were 70,000 in attendance and we saw heavy traffic in nearly every isle. This show was held at the same time as the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show, the National Hardware Show, the International Surfaces Event, and the Las Vegas Winter Market. It has been estimated that over 200,000 took place in the events throughout the week. There were components and equipment there ranging from fasteners and home elevators to the finishing touches needed to complete a building. Of course, there were plenty of high-tech home accessories as well. We were able to speak with some of our customers and distributors at the show, and they felt a display of Panels Plus equipment would be an interesting addition in the future and would help us make new connections with potential customers.
I’ve mentioned the Automated Sheathing Station in several of these newsletters, and I want to keep everyone updated on our progress. An improvement was made to one of the test units to allow more tolerance for floor variations and this is currently being tested in the field.
Our R&D group has been doing some work on an automated wall panel stacker and have been gathering more data to steer this project. In addition, they are planning to design a screw version of the Automated Sheathing Station and are also creating some initial concepts for a new framer. These are ongoing projects that will require many months of design and testing. I’ll have updates on these projects in future newsletters.
In conclusion, the entire Panels Plus team would like to express our appreciation for your continued support and partnership over the years. We look forward to working with you in the future and to continuing to provide you with the best possible products and services.
